Application submission date is extended by PPSC
Due to network congestion on PPSC Website, some candidates are unable to apply for advertisement number 22/2020, 23/2020, and 24/2020.
by observing the current situation PPSC has decided to extend the application submission date for these advertisements till 10th September.
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is a government agency responsible for hiring and administering the provincial civil services and management services in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.
The Punjab Public Service Commission, established in April 1937, is the oldest Provincial Public Service Commission of Pakistan. It was established under the Punjab Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 and presently It is functioning in accordance with the ambit of Punjab Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 and Punjab Public Service Commission (Functions) Rules, 1979. It is the best to the commission of Pakistan.
PPSC aims to establish a competent, efficient, professional, and responsive Public Service to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. It acts without fear or favor ensuring functional independence, political neutrality, accountability, and integrity and uphold standards, policies, guidelines, and rules governing selection processes. It develops and implements rule-based selection criteria and processes to ensure fair and equal-opportunity to all candidates.
Punjab Public Service Commission render advice to the Government, where necessary, on policies, methods of recruitment, selection criteria, and processes, to ensure efficient selection process and to attract the best possible human resource for various posts.
PPSC conduct tests, examinations, and interviews for recruitment to such Provincial Services and posts connected with the affairs of the Province, and such posts in or under a Corporation or other body or organization set up by Government under any law, and to advise the Government on such matters as may be prescribed relating to the terms and conditions of service of persons who are members of a Provincial Service or hold posts in connection with the affairs of the Province.
