A well-known mountaineer, Samina Baig has been honored with Hum Women Leaders Award.

At the first Hum Women Leaders Awards 2020, held at Governor House Sindh, a well-known mountaineer, Samina Baig has been honored with Hum Women Leaders Award for brilliance in the field of athletics.

Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, as well as the US Ambassador to Pakistan, Paul W Jones, Honourable Consul Generals, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, and several notable celebrities from the entertainment industry attended this remarkable event.

Samina Baig, Jalila Haider, Khadija Siddiqui, Fouzia Saeed, Bushra Ansari, Dr. Seemin Jamali, Zubeida Mustafa, Shamshad Akhtar, and Maleeha Lodhi among the eleven women honored.

The award is an initiative of Hum Network Limited to recognize and honor the contributions and achievements of iconic women from Pakistan and internationally who are change-makers in their respective fields and a symbol and source of hope, courage, determination, and inspiration for women worldwide.

The Hum Women Leaders Award will present annually by Hum Network Limited. The honor will give to remember and also celebrate legendary women from Pakistan and worldwide. They are trailblazers in their fields and a symbol of hope, courage, determination, and additionally inspiration for women.

The Hum Women Leaders Award gave out annually on International Women’s Day.
