Tuesday night on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Dua Lipa announced that she had officially given up smoking.
In order to preserve the health of her voice for her Future Nostalgia tour in 2022, the 27-year-old pop singer first gave up smoking. However, she has now revealed that she has completely given up the habit.
She admitted to host Seth, “At the time, I was smoking cigarettes.” However, I’ve given up. Guys, I’m quitting.
The actual start date of the Houdini hitmaker’s smoking habit is unclear, but following an attack of laryngitis in December 2021, she resolved to quit for the sake of her tour.
Dua subsequently talked about how her confidence had increased dramatically since quitting.
She said, “I had laryngitis in December and that kind of kickestarted me quitting smoking a month earlier than I was supposed to,” in an interview with her At Your Service podcast. Still, I followed through and completed it.
This information was made public when Dua posted a number of humorous selfies with her fans while intoxicated last week after spending a fun New Year’s Eve celebration with her family in Jaipur, India.
The musician overindulged in strong beverages at the joyous celebration to ring in 2024.
