1500 cars bearing fictitious license plates were seized in Punjab

In the first three weeks of this month, 1,556 vehicles in Lahore were found to have phony or unusual license plates, according to the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA). The people who used fictitious license plates have been prosecuted, and the police have seized the automobiles.

The PSCA actively participates in operations to identify and prosecute vehicles with fake number plates, working in tandem with Field Forces. The public is asked to support these efforts by using the emergency helpline 15 to report any vehicles that they suspect of having phony or unusual license plates.

A sixty-year-old man was hospitalized after suffering injuries in a car accident in the Gowalmandi police jurisdiction four days prior. The body has been moved to the morgue, and the victim’s identification is still unknown.

Eight unclaimed bodies that were discovered throughout the city were interred by the Edhi Foundation and buried at the Saggian and Miani Sahib cemeteries.

The decaying body of an unnamed male, said to be ten days old, was found in Defence C close to Bedian Road. Since they believe there was foul play, the body has been sent to the morgue so that investigations may continue.

In a another occurrence, a guy in his 60s was discovered dead close to Safanwala Chowk in Mozang. The man may have died from the cold, according to the authorities. The deceased has been moved to the morgue so that it can be examined.
