‘Confirmed’ to play Reed Richards in ‘Fantastic Four’ is Pedro Pascal
Matt Shakman, the director of Fantastic Four, seemed to reaffirm Pedro Pascal’s role as Reed Richards in the next sequel.
After Pascal shared an Instagram post announcing an update to the SAG-AFTRA website that included the superhero movie as one of his upcoming projects, social media went crazy.
Shakman quickly acknowledged his error and deleted his profile, effectively verifying the rumors.
ComingSoon.Net reports that early this week, someone noticed the actor from The Last of Us’s revised career page on the actors union website.
MCU executive Kevin Feiger initially revealed the concept, which would include four superheroes, at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019.
Shakman is slated to helm it, with Josh Friedman rewriting the screenplay.
According to rumors, Vanessa Kirby will play Sue Storm, a position that Jessica Alba once had; Joseph Quinn will take Chris Evans’ place as Johnny Storm; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is said to be playing Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing.
