If Andy Reid departs the Chiefs, Travis Kelce has threatened to retire

The US Sun stated that tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs made a strong declaration on the most recent episode of the New Heights podcast, pledging his allegiance to head coach Andy Reid.

Kelce even threatened to leave the NFL in the event that Reid made the decision to retire. I’m not playing for anybody else but Big Red,” Kelce said when talking about his Super Bowl outburst against Reid with his brother Jason. I’m leaving there with him, man, if he calls it quits this year.

Addressing the on-field altercation with Reid, Kelce stated his desire to play for Reid and accept accountability for the team’s performance, as well as the emotion behind it. Jason, meanwhile, brushed off the notion that Reid might retire soon. Kelce assuredly shot back, “He’s not.”

“With him, I have a particular relationship,” Travis said on the show. “He’s checked me a few times, and I just wanted to let him know that I got him and that I wanted this thing that he could put on me.”

It arrived at a crucial juncture when we needed to get some crap going because neither I nor we were performing well. And my career has been fought by the moments when those feelings got the better of me.

With 25 years of coaching expertise under his belt, Reid, 65, just won his third Super Bowl. The tight end stated that both he and Reid might retire in the upcoming years, with Kelce, at 34, having two years remaining on his deal.
