The relationship with Benny Blanco is the “safest” Selena Gomez has ever experienced
Selena Gomez feels comfortable and protected around Benny Blanco.
In an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1, the 34-year-old pop icon discussed her relationship with 35-year-old Blanco in addition to her most recent track, Love On.
Think about your past relationships with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, among others, and say, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone who respects you,” Gomez stated.
Additionally, the singer of Single Soon remarked that “it’s really nice” to be with someone who “understands the world that [she lives] in.”
To put things in perspective, Blanco is a music producer who has already collaborated with Gomez on a few of her songs.
She said, “But I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve grown through it, so it’s awesome.”
In December 2023, Gomez initially declared her romance with Blanco.
After six months of dating, an insider close to the pair said that the former Disney actress felt “so safe and secure” with Blanco, as reported by Entertainment Tonight at the time.
