A 5.3-magnitude earthquake shakes parts of Punjab and K-P
A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck many parts of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday; no damage or injuries have been recorded as of yet, according to Express News.
In addition to Islamabad, the following locations experienced earthquakes: Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Kohat, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Nowshera, and Sialkot, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC).
The epicenter of the earthquake was 130 kilometers below the surface, with a Richter scale value of 5.3. The Hindukush area of Afghanistan was the epicenter of the earthquake.
