PIA rewards an Air Hostess 1 Lac Rupees for her honesty
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) CEO Arshad Malik on Tuesday announced an Rs.100,000 reward for Bushra Saleem, an air hostess of the national flag carrier.
PIA air hostess has set an example today. She returned lost cash to the vigilance team to return to its owner at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. The vigilance team then tracked down the passenger, whose name they did not reveal, and handed over the amount. As per details, the air hostess found leftover cash of 21,385 dirhams from the seat of the passenger.
The passenger was traveling from Dubai to Karachi on PIA’s flight PK-214 and forgot his cash at his seat after coming out of the plane. The cash was found by air-hostess Bushara Saleem after the plane got empty.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pakistan International Airlines telephoned the air-hostess and appreciated her honesty and loyalty.
Earlier, on November 15, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) returned a bag containing Rs. 1.8 million cash to its owner, who had forgotten it in the arrival lounge of Lahore Airport.
PIA is Pakistan’s national Air Line. Its reputation has been at the stake after so many plane crashes. It is a good way for PIA to get its lost reputation back and earn the trust of customers again.
