Pakistan is an emerging mobile market, with all the challenges and opportunities this entails. With digitalization at its early stages, the 3G/4G penetration rate in the country stands at 35.21%. It means more than 74 million subscribers connected. But it set to grow through the government’s Vision 2025 initiatives. It considers Information and communications technologies (ICT); the key drivers of innovation, economic growth, competitiveness, and greater social inclusion. And mobile operators will have a fundamental role to play in fulfilling these ambitious objectives in the next five years.
