Murad Shah PPP Blocks Canal Plan Defends Sindh
“In the presence of the PPP, no one can dare to conspire against Sindh,” Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said while talking to the media at Bhan Saeedabad.
He said everyone in Sindh has right to protest against canals, “We didn’t stop anyone from it”.
Sindh’s chief minister said he arranged a survey over the canals, ” the work has been stopped”.
He said as chief minister he has strongly presented Sindh’s stance before the federal government,”We accessed the Council of Common Interest (CCI) against the canals.”
“The canals’ agenda has been removed from the ECNEC session after our protest,” he said.
He said the PML-N people lied about the canals. They later apologized over over misstatements about canals,” CM said.
He said the People’s Party will hold another public meeting against canals in Sukkur on April 25.
