Shehbaz China Envoy Discuss CPEC Iran-Israel
The Chinese Ambassador met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to talk about the current situation in the region, especially the conflict between Iran and Israel. They also discussed other important matters between Pakistan and China.
The prime minister sent his warm wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. He also wished China success in hosting the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. He mentioned that both countries are talking about his planned visit to China for the summit.
PM Shehbaz said that Pakistan and China have a strong and trusted friendship. He promised to keep working closely with China to make sure that all projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are successful.

Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong told the prime minister about the progress in different areas of Pakistan-China cooperation. He said preparations have already started to make sure the prime minister’s visit to China at the end of August 2025 goes well.
