Rain Thunderstorms Likely in Karachi and Sindh This Weekend
The weather department has said that most parts of Sindh will be hot and humid on Thursday. But some areas like Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Khairpur, Sukkur, and Larkana might get rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.
On Friday, the sky will be partly cloudy. However, rain and thunderstorms with strong winds are expected in several areas, including Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Nawabshah, Karachi, and nearby places.
Chance of Rain in Karachi This Weekend
The weather report also said that Sindh’s southeast and upper areas — such as Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Kashmore, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Thatta, Badin, and Karachi — may receive rain between June 25 and June 28. This will be the first spell of monsoon rains in the province.
The weather office has also warned that low-lying areas in Karachi and Hyderabad may face urban flooding on Friday (June 27).
