Hania Aamir’s Sardaar Ji 3 Opens to Packed Cinemas in Pakistan
Hania Aamir’s Movie ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ Released in Pakistan, Gets Big Response
Even though there were boycott calls and criticism against Diljit Dosanjh and the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 for casting Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, the film has now been released in cinemas across Pakistan—and it’s getting a great response.
Fans of Hania Aamir, who recently starred in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, were very excited to see her on screen with Diljit Dosanjh. The two had earlier shared a memorable moment on stage in London last year, and people were looking forward to seeing them together in a film. On the first day, cinema halls were full in Pakistan, and the movie became a hit right away.
‘Sardaar Ji 3’ Opens to Full Houses in Pakistan
For those who don’t know, the producers of Sardaar Ji 3 (including Diljit) chose to release the film internationally, not in India. This was after the Film Federation of Western Indian Cinema (FWIC) brought back the ban on Pakistani artists working in India. The decision came after a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, India, in April, which killed at least 26 people and made political tensions worse between the two countries.
Directed by Amar Hundal, Sardaar Ji 3 stars Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, and Gulshan Grover. The movie was released worldwide—except in India—on Friday, June 27.
