Deadly Karachi Accidents Tankers Kill 3 Including Child
A very sad incident happened in the Razzaqabad area. Rescue teams came after getting a call and took the dead body to a nearby hospital. The victim was a 3-year-old boy named Adil Shah.
Earlier on the same day, two men riding motorcycles died in separate accidents with water tankers in Karachi.
According to rescue teams, one man on a motorcycle was hit and killed by a fast-moving water tanker near Valika Chowrangi in the SITE area. His name was Ameer Muawiya, and he was 22 years old. After the accident, an angry crowd caught the tanker driver, beat him up, and then handed him over to the police. The police arrested the driver, Sarfaraz, and took away the vehicle.
In another accident in the Banaras area, another motorcyclist died after being hit by a water tanker. His body was taken to a hospital, but his name was not known yet.
Rescue officials said that by July 1, 2025, at least 456 people, including 56 children, have died in road accidents in Karachi this year. Around 6,895 people have been injured. Many of these accidents involved big vehicles like dumpers and water tankers.
