MDCAT 2025 on Oct 5 PMDC Update
MDCAT 2025 Will Be Held on October 5 Across Pakistan
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) announced that the MDCAT 2025 exam will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in all parts of the country at the same time. This was shared during a meeting of the National Assembly’s health committee, led by Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani.
New MDCAT Curriculum Announced
PMDC has also shared a new syllabus for the test. According to PMDC President Dr. Rizwan Taj, the test will cover five subjects:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
English
Logical Reasoning
The test will have:
180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
3-hour time limit
No negative marking
Questions will be:
15% easy
70% moderate
15% difficult
Passing Marks:
Medical colleges: Minimum 55% marks required
Dental colleges: Minimum 50% marks required
PMDC is also preparing a question bank for the exam with help from education experts, boards, and universities.
