Matric Results Out Sindh Goes Online
Chairman Muhammad Ishaq officially announced the matric exam results on Tuesday. Aftab Alam, a student from Balochistan Residential College, came first with 1,051 marks. Muhammad Hashir got second place with 1,043 marks. Third place was shared by Muhammad Tufail and Saqib Ali, both scoring 1,038 marks.
A total of 148,114 students took the Matric Annual Exams, and 100,870 passed. The overall pass rate was 68.10%, according to Chairman Ishaq.
In other news, certificate verification for matric and inter students in Sindh will now be done online. This change was announced by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).

According to the new rule, sealed envelopes with certificates will not be accepted anymore. Instead, all verifications will happen through an online system.
The IBCC has asked all Sindh education boards to connect with its platform for smooth online verification. Right now, the system is being used by the Karachi Matric Board, Sukkur Education Board, and Ziauddin Board.
Other boards in Sindh have been told to upload and digitize their records quickly so they can also join the online system.
