Man Killed, Wife Injured in Road Accident; Dumper Crashes into Karachi Bungalow
A 60-year-old man named Liaqat died on the spot after a road accident, while his wife, Robina Bibi, was injured. The couple was riding a motorcycle when the accident happened.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene, gave first aid to the injured woman, and moved the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) for legal formalities. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
In another incident in Karachi, a speeding dumper truck, carrying construction debris, crashed into a bungalow near Defence Morr. The truck hit the boundary wall while going toward Punjab Colony.
Police said the wall was damaged, and both the driver and the cleaner were hurt. They were taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver told police that the accident happened because the brakes failed. He has been taken into custody.
