Hina Rizvi Announces Separation from Husband
KARACHI – Popular TV actor Hina Rizvi has confirmed that she and her husband, Ammar Ahmed Khan, have separated. The couple got married in April last year.
On Saturday, Rizvi posted a message on her Instagram saying, “With a heavy heart, I announce that my husband, Ammar Ahmed Khan, has separated.”
She also asked everyone to respect their privacy during this time. “It wasn’t an easy step. We both need time to decide what is best for the future of this relationship,” she said.
Rizvi made it clear that they are not getting a divorce right now. She requested the media not to use the word “divorce,” as they are only separated for now.
She explained that both religion and Pakistani law allow a married couple to separate for some time if they are facing issues they cannot fix immediately.
“This is not the first time two people have decided to take time apart. It’s not wrong,” Rizvi said. “If something is hurting our mental health, we have the right to take a break and find a better solution.”
At the end of her message, Rizvi said she spoke up because she is deeply hurt, and she believes her husband is also going through a difficult time.
