In a recent interview with a US media outlet, Josh Brolin applauded Cregger’s daring approach to the horror genre. He explained how Weapons pushes horror “to the edge of absurdity,” blending unexpected humor with genuine emotional impact.
“You’re constantly searching for great filmmakers, hoping to find fresh voices,” Brolin said. “With so much content available on streaming platforms, it’s easy to get bored and skip to the next thing because it all feels the same.
