Austin Butlers Shocking Health Scares
Austin Butler Opens Up About Scary Health Scares Amid Busy Career
Oscar-nominated actor Austin Butler, 34, recently shared some frightening health experiences from his busy acting career in a candid magazine interview.
The ‘Elvis’ star revealed that a few years ago, while flying to begin filming Jeff Nichols’ upcoming crime drama alongside Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer, he suddenly woke up with a severe migraine and temporary blindness. Butler attributed the episode to overworking and lack of sleep, but said he “willed” his sight to return—and thankfully, it eventually did.
Butler also spoke about another painful ordeal during the ‘Dune: Part II’ press tour. He experienced sudden, intense pain in his foot, causing his toes to curl for eight months. When he finally saw a doctor, he discovered a shard of glass had been lodged in his foot the entire time.
In another incident, Butler had to be hospitalized due to excruciating appendicitis-like pain shortly after finishing the grueling schedule of the ‘Elvis’ biopic.
Despite these challenges, Butler continues to tackle demanding roles, showing both resilience and dedication in his career.
