Nicole Kidman Files for Divorce from Keith Urban After 20 Years Together
Hollywood power couple Nicole Kidman, 58, and Keith Urban, 57, are officially going their separate ways. Reports from international media confirm that the Oscar-winning actress has filed for divorce from her country music star husband, following a decision to live apart since the beginning of summer.
According to court documents, Kidman initiated the divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences” and marking their separation date as the date of filing. The couple has mutually agreed to waive any claims to alimony or spousal support.
The pair will share custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman is seeking to be the primary residential parent, with the children spending 306 days a year with her and the remaining 59 days, including every other weekend, with Urban.
This marks Kidman’s second high-profile marriage. She was previously married to Hollywood star Tom Cruise for over a decade before getting engaged to Keith Urban in May 2006 and marrying him the following month.
