Security Forces Kill 18 Terrorists in Balochistan Operations
Quetta, Balochistan – Pakistani security forces conducted a series of operations in Balochistan targeting terrorists linked to Indian-sponsored networks.
The first operation took place in the Gaza Band area on the outskirts of Quetta following reports of terrorist activity. Security forces engaged the militants at a Fitna-al-Khawarij hideout. After a heavy exchange of fire, 10 militants were killed. Two security personnel were injured during the operation.
In separate operations carried out in Zhob and Sherani districts, eight more terrorists were neutralized. Authorities also recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Earlier, a suicide attack near Jinnah Road in Quetta was thwarted, resulting in the deaths of five militants, including a suicide bomber. Two Frontier Corps personnel were injured, while attackers disguised in FC uniforms were neutralized, according to security sources.
The security forces reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism and bringing perpetrators to justice, emphasizing the nation’s resolve to maintain safety and stability across Balochistan.
