Al-Attar, a remarkable 15-year-old Palestinian boy from northern Gaza, has gained the moniker “the Newton of Gaza” for his creative method of producing electricity.
Al-Attar, who was uprooted from his family as a result of the fighting, found motivation in the chilly air and devised a plan to provide warmth and light to the youngsters who were in need. He used basic equipment to create fans that capture wind energy and produce a finite amount of electricity.
