50 Militants Killed in Four Days as Pakistan Forces Continue Operations in Zhob and Mastung
ZHOB – Following successful operations in the Sambaza area of Zhob District between August 7 and 9, 2025, where 47 militants were killed, Pakistani security forces carried out another targeted sanitization operation on the night of April 10-11 along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
According to the military’s media wing, three more Indian-sponsored militants were eliminated during the latest operation, and weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from their possession.
With these latest kills, the total number of militants neutralized in the four-day counterterrorism drive has reached 50.
The ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to safeguarding the nation’s borders and defeating any attempts to disrupt peace, stability, and progress.
Earlier Incident in Mastung
Last month, two Pakistan Army personnel, including a Major, embraced martyrdom in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mastung District, Balochistan. The ISPR said the operation targeted militants belonging to the Indian proxy group “Fitna al Hindustan.”
The IBO, conducted on July 23, 2025, resulted in the killing of three militants after security forces effectively engaged their hideout.
