Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari and Mahmood Choudhry tied a knot on January 29. Interest continues to renew in the high-profile wedding, with women earlier scrambling to discover to had designed Bakhtawar’s nikah dress.
As a result, it is now known that the reception dress was designed by Haris Ahmed. The label has also posted in great detail about the work put into it on its Instagram account. The dress is a shalwar kameez with the art of gold sewing complemented by real gota embroidery.
They proudly shared Bakhtawar’s picture with the caption “The most elegant couple”
In addition, the label is very happy to design this dress for Bakhtawar; daughter of former President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari and late Benazir Bhutto; for her reception. Moreover, they were intrigued by how the team worked over 800 development hours to bring this precious masterpiece dress to fruition.
The label also showed a close-up of the dupatta which caught the eye and fancy of many a woman closely following reportage around the wedding.
Meanwhile, her husband Mahmood shares a photo from the reception in which the couple is walking among their guests.
Mahmood is wearing a short sherwani pantsuit, alongside a mask; while Bakhtawar is wearing the beautiful embroidery Haris Ahmed dress with a matching mask.
The dress, similar in shade, appears to be green, though the actual color may be darker.
