Ali Amin Gandapur, supported by the Sunni Ittehad Council, has achieved a significant victory by becoming the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

His success came with an overwhelming majority, as he secured a total of 90 votes in the new provincial assembly. Before Gandapur’s triumph, Babar Saleem Swati, also representing the Sunni Ittehad Council, secured a notable victory by being elected as the Speaker of the KP Assembly.

Swati garnered a substantial 89 votes, significantly more than his opponent, who received only 17 votes. Following his victory, Swati promptly took the oath of office as the Speaker of the assembly.
