Anna Camp Reacts to Emmy Snub for Her Dual Role in Netflix’s ‘You’
Actor Anna Camp, best known for her recent double performance as identical twins Reagan and Maddie Lockwood in the final season of Netflix’s psychological thriller You, has expressed disappointment after being left out of the 2025 Emmy nominations.
Camp took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing two photos of her character with a pointed caption:
“Me reading about the nominations this morning, knowing I gave one of the best performances of my life while also trying to be happy for everyone and while also remembering I vowed to stop drinking during the week.”
Despite her critically praised performance, Camp was not among the nominees in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category. The announced shortlist includes Julianne Nicholson (Paradise), Katherine LaNasa (The Pitt), Patricia Arquette (Severance), and The White Lotus stars Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Coon, Natasha Rothwell, and Parker Posey.
‘Severance’ Leads 2025 Emmy Race with 27 Nominations
The nominations were unveiled Tuesday by actors Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song during a livestreamed ceremony. Many fans and critics had expected Camp to receive a nod, especially given the complexity of portraying two distinct characters in the same series.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze and are scheduled to air on September 14, 2025.
All five seasons of You, starring Penn Badgley, are currently streaming on Netflix.
