On Saturday night’s episode of Tamasha season 2, which was broadcast on television, up-and-coming actor Aruba Mirza won the coveted award. Other up-and-coming stars from the entertainment sector, such as Omer Shahzad, Faizan Sheikh, Junaid Niazi, and Neha Khan, were among the finalists.
Hosted by Mohib Mirza, the finale included musical performances by Asim Azhar, a contestant on the show, and Ali Sikander, a competitor who was dismissed a few days earlier by fewer votes. Adnan Siddiqui also performed on stage as Badshah Salamat, seated on a throne for the duration of the performance.
Families of the top five competitors were in the crowd, hoping to see their loved one take home the trophy and the staggering Rs 25 lacs in cash. All nine of the competitors who had previously been eliminated from the race were also in attendance, along with a few of the show’s fan favorites from the first season, including Tamasha season 1 champion Umer Aalam.
The number of potential winners shrank as the episode went on. Faizan was the first to be eliminated because she garnered the fewest votes during the open public voting. Neha was the next contestant to be eliminated, and many fans and watchers were still in amazement of how far she had come despite being one of the least popular contestants.
Following Neha, it was Omer’s time to drop out of the running, much to the dismay of a number of Tamasha supporters who had been hoping for him to be declared the winner. Finally, the competition came down to Junaid and Aruba, who developed a strong bond during their 50-day cohabitation.
The atmosphere was electric with anticipation as the audience and previous participants awaited the eagerly anticipated announcement, with Adnan taking center stage and the two finalists standing on either side of him. Adnan delayed the news as long as he could before announcing Aruba as the victor to loud applause and excitement from the audience.
The US-based reality show Big Brother’s original format was officially adapted for the second Tamasha episode. Tamasha is a reality show, similar to its American equivalent, where competitors are forced to live together in a single home and perform household duties while being blocked off from the outside world.
In order to avoid the weekly elimination round that results in only a small group of participants being forced to compete for the winning prize and glory, they also simultaneously complete unique tasks and take part in complex activities.
