KARACHI: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s fiancé Mahmood Chaudhry arrived in Pakistan ahead of wedding festivities slated for later this month.
Engagement
On November 27, 2020, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, the eldest daughter of Pakistan’s first female prime minister Benazir Bhutto engaged Mehmood Chaudhry at the Bilawal House in Karachi.

There were approximately 150 people who attended the ceremony. Most of them were close relatives of both the families. Due to the pandemic, the event only covered close friends and family.
Bilawal Bhutto, however, could not attend the ceremony as he was diagnosed with coronavirus. Bilawal isolated himself to a specific portion of Bilawal House.

Mehmood Chaudry
Bakhtawar’s fiancé Mehmood Chaudry is the son of Mohammad Younas Chaudhry and Begum Suriya Chaudhary. The family hails from Lahore and lives in Dubai. They manage a diverse range of businesses.
Wedding
A spokesperson for Bilawal House confirmed that the wedding will be held later this month. The mehndi function will take place on January 27th. Their nikkah will be on January 29th while their walima reception is slated for January 30th. Several politicians, businesspersons and military officials have been invited to the wedding, according to sources.
