Bakhtawar Bhutto’s Milad function held in Karachi

KARACHI: A Milad function took place on Sunday at the Bilawal House. It marked the beginning of the series of events of Bakhtawar Bhutto’s wedding.

Faryal Talpur, Dr Azra Pechuho, and other party members of the PPP attended the gathering. Special prayers for the success of Ms Bhutto-Zardari’s marital life took place at the end.

Participants were wearing face masks. tHeir pictures were shared on social media. The pictures portraited Benazir Bhutto placed in the hall.

Wedding schedule

The Bilawal House on Friday released the schedule of the wedding of Bakhtawar Bhutto. A simple Mehndi ceremony will take place on January 27.

The Nikkah of Bakhtawar Bhutto will take place on January 29 and the Barat on January 30.

The Bhutto family has invited nearly 300 guests.

The spokesman said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be suspending his political activities for a week to participate in sister’s wedding.

Bakhtawar got engaged to Mahmood Choudhary in an intimate ceremony which took place at the Bilawal House Karachi on November 27, 2020. Limited number of people were invited. The city’s bigwigs, business magnates, politicians, and lawyers were present at the event.

Who’s Mahmood Choudhary?

Dubai-based Mahmood Choudhary is the son of Mohammad Younas Choudhary and Begum Suriya Choudhary; and manages a diversified business. The family hails “from the old town of Lahore, Pakistan.”

Mohammad Younas Choudhary migrated to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1973, where he established businesses in the construction and transport industry. Mahmood Choudhary is the youngest of five siblings who was born on July 28, 1988.
