Priyanka Chopra Jonas may soon be finalising her upcoming Hindi film in collaboration with filmmaker and composer Sanjay Leela Bhansali for an action film set in a different time period, according to Pinkvilla. The star’s recent visit to India set Indian social media ablaze with images tracking her whereabouts.
A person close to the diva revealed, “She is meeting Bhansali now to decide on the timeline, schedule, and costumes.” Before starting her next movie, Priyanka, who is well aware of the public’s enthusiasm in her career, has reportedly been evaluating many screenplays and setting up meetings with a number of directors, according to Hindustan Times.
According to the insider, Bhansali is not only expected to collaborate with Priyanka this year but also Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt on his next movie, Love and War, which is scheduled for release in December 2025.
The same source revealed that Priyanka is concentrating on her production company in addition to working on the film with Bhansali, as the purpose of her trip to India is exclusively business-related. Awedacious Originals and Priyanka’s production firm Purple Pebble Pictures recently collaborated to produce the documentary Women Of My Billions, which centers on women who have experienced assault. The documentary, which was directed by Ajitesh Sharma, follows a lady as she travels from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
Priyanka recently appeared with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci in the online series Citadel and the movie Love Again. She was supposed to star with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated film Jee Le Zaraa, however she withdrew owing to schedule issues. Apart from her many playing roles, Priyanka has a packed schedule of non-actoring endeavors. Her role in the Academy Award-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger is executive producer.
