This action-packed thriller is based on the popular Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X, and has garnered a remarkable 8.1 million views over the course of the weekend.
Furthermore, the film has gained popularity and is currently ranked within the top 10 list in 52 countries.
The Bollywood icon took to her Instagram account to express her heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming response to her latest project.
During an exclusive interview with Variety, the renowned actress from “Jab We Met” shared her excitement regarding the tremendous success of her first-ever venture into the world of streaming platforms.
The 43-year-old artist stated, “Having the opportunity to make my streaming debut with Netflix and working on a film like ‘Jaane Jaan’ has been incredibly fulfilling. The reactions and messages received from fans and audiences worldwide have reinforced my belief that compelling stories can resonate universally.”
The mother of two also commended the entire cast and crew of the film, describing her first foray into streaming as a truly remarkable experience.
“Portraying the character of Maya D’souza, alongside talented co-stars like Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, and being directed by Sujoy Ghosh, contributed to making my streaming debut an unforgettable journey,” she concluded.
