Katrina Kaif, who has been receiving a lot of attention for her amazing performance in Merry Christmas, recently stated that she would like to have a bad part in movies going forward.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, the B-town diva revealed that her growth as an artist has been gradual.
She clarified, “With experiences you change, you grow, you evolve as a person, and so naturally your choices are going to slightly start reflecting that change, and that’s going to be reflected in your work as well.”
Regarding her forthcoming roles, Kaif stated, “…I would really love to play a negative character,” but she made it clear that in order to play the role she wants, the actor must be a part of a significant script.
The actress from Jab Tak Hai Jaan talked candidly about her decisions, stating, “There are a lot of things that excite me. I’d adore to work on a historical drama. I am eager to accomplish that since I am an actor.”
Kaif said in the same interview that she is thrilled with how well her latest movie, Merry Christmas, “resonated with the audiences.”
Alongside Kaif in the mystery film is Vijay Sethupati.
The romantic thriller film, which was directed by the highly regarded Sriram Raghavan, debuted on major screens on January 12, 2024.
