The most extravagant wedding ever attended by the son of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, appears to have enthralled Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, who expressed a desire to see such festivities take place in Pakistan as well.
The extravagant celebration hosted by the Ambani family was widely publicized, according to a statement from Governor Tessori. He expressed his desire to see such events held in Pakistan that would attract prominent visitors from all over the world.
The grandiose wedding of Anant Ambani attracted the most influential and wealthy people from all over the world to Gujarat, India. These people included Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, American popstar Rihanna, former US president Donald Trump’s daughter, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and wife Jetsun Pema of Bhutan, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Additionally, he commended Pakistani businesspeople for their significant contribution to the public’s relief efforts after the devastating floods and coronavirus outbreak. The governor said that he would not take a position similar to that in the future and that he would not lament the lack of authority to serve the people.
Tessori said that through the Governor’s House, they gave rations totaling Rs. 1.5 billion to worthy households. He expressed gratitude for the kind giving and said that a philanthropist had given Rs1.5 billion to help the impoverished receive necessities.
Tessori, nevertheless, stated that he would not be disclosing the donor’s identity since they asked him to keep it confidential.
The governor also promised to contact the Center to request that the president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) be included to the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
