The American businessman Jeff Bezos, who founded the online retailer Amazon, has shared his daily routine with the public, piqueing their curiosity about what the wealthy actually do.
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Blue Origin, an aerospace business, advised starting his mornings extremely slowly.
He revealed on the Lex Friedman Podcast that he drags his feet and browses through his phone in the morning.
Upon hearing this behavior, the podcast presenter expressed disbelief, calling the 60-year-old billionaire “one of the most productive humans in the world.”
In a response that was initially made available in December 2023, Bezos said, “I’m not as prolific as you may imagine I am. I putter about the house when I first wake up in the morning. I drink some coffee and proceed quite slowly.”
Before going to the gym for weightlifting and cardio, the former president and CEO of Amazon also disclosed that he reads a newspaper and speaks with his fiancée Lauren Sanchez.
“Most days, [going to the gym] is not that hard for me, but some days it’s really hard and I do it anyway,” stated the owner of the Washington Post newspaper.
The fiancé of Lauren Sanchez once mentioned in an interview that he goes to bed and wakes up early.
According to a CNBC article, Bezos is a proponent of embracing aimlessness or wanderlust.
Bezos reportedly follows this method to the office, where he promotes mind-wandering sessions to generate and analyze fresh concepts without allowing time restrictions to hinder originality, according to the publication.
