According to Business Today, Nikesh Arora, the CEO of Meta, is paid more than Google CEO Sundar Pichai and CEO of Indian descent Mark Zuckerberg combined.
Arora, the chief executive officer of Palo Alto Networks, a cybersecurity firm, was included in the “top 10 highest earning CEOs in the US” according to a recent Wall Street Journal study authored by Jeff Bezos.
Hock Tan, the CEO of Broadcom, dominated the list, then he lagged behind.
Arora reportedly receives $151.43 million in pay, compared to $24.40 million for Zuckerberg and $8.8 million for Pichai.
Following his schooling at esteemed institutions in the US and India, the 56-year-old CEO was employed as Google’s Chief Business Officer, rising to the position of highest-paid executive in 2012.
He had a $51 million package while working at Google. By the time he departed the IT behemoth, he had amassed $200 million in stock awards.
In addition, he held the positions of president and chief operating officer of Softbank, where he was paid $135 million, citing a Bloomberg article.
Palo Alto has been led by him for the past six years.
