The well-known smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is set to launch its first electric vehicle in China. The Xiaomi SU7 sedan is the name of this vehicle. But, the government must provide its approval before the public can purchase it. Xiaomi has requested permission from the government.
The Xiaomi SU7 is a large electric vehicle with a selection of wheel sizes. You have the option of 19- or 20-inch wheels. One of the car’s unique features will be a camera on the side that unlocks the vehicle by recognizing faces.
The Xiaomi SU7 has two different modes of propulsion: rear-wheel drive, which uses the car’s wheels to push itself forward, and all-wheel drive, which uses the car’s wheels to propel itself forward. The vehicle will run on a unique type of battery produced by either CATL or BYD. There will be variants of the vehicle with varying features, such as ones with movable wings on the back.
You can select the color of the interior of the automobile, and it will be equipped with Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS computer system, which is similar to the one found in their smartphones.
Large-scale production of the Xiaomi SU7 is scheduled to begin in December 2023. The first cars will be delivered to people in February 2024. These vehicles are produced by BAIC, a different business, for Xiaomi. The fact that BAIC also produces Mercedes-Benz automobiles in China makes it intriguing.
About 2.5 years ago, Xiaomi announced that it will be producing electric automobiles and has since invested a significant amount of capital in the project. They’re coming closer to carrying it out now.
