Car Crash in Karachi: Four friends were killed after their car crashed into a pedestrian bridge on Karachi’s University Road early Monday, the police and eyewitnesses said.
The vehicle’s engine, axle, and other parts disintegrated because of the intensity of the crash, according to the police.
“People present at the crash site said the driver was trying to dodge a motorcycle when he lost control of the car’s speed,” a police officer said.
The victims were identified as Moiz, Muhammad Asad, Taimur, and Roohan. Their bodies were shifted to a hospital. A crane was called in to pick up the remnants of the car.
The teenagers were on their way to Safoora Chowrangi when they found a slow-moving motorbike on the fast track between the Karachi University Staff Gate and the Sheikh Zaid Islamic Research Centre.
To save the bike rider, the driver moved the car to the extreme left and lost control, according to eyewitnesses. The car rammed into the pillar of a pedestrian bridge a few meters away from the main gate of SZIRC.

A team of police and traffic officials visited the crash site Monday afternoon. Marks of the car’s tires were present as far back on the road as 72 feet from the crash site.
A forensic analysis of the site was conducted too. The police are expected to issue their report soon about this car crash that happened in Karachi.
