Recently, the well-known app Careem and the Madinah Development Authority presented their new “Madinah Tour” service. The statement, made during the Saudi Tourism Forum 2024 in Riyadh, demonstrated Careem’s dedication to boosting local tourism and improving commuter experiences, both of which are in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals.
With the “Madinah Tour,” guests can discover 12 important historical and touristic locations in Madinah as part of a carefully crafted experience. Notable places like the Battle of Uhud site and Masjid Nabawi are among these sites. The general manager of Careem Rides KSA, Egypt & Bahrain, Wael Ibrahim, expressed gratitude for the partnership and stressed the company’s commitment to innovation while helping the Kingdom’s tourism industry flourish.
Users have two options with the “Madinah Tour,” which is available through the Careem app. The first choice is a two-hour tour that covers up to five historical sites; the second option is a five-hour tour that covers all twelve locations.
In keeping with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives, the strategic cooperation with the Madinah Development Authority seeks to improve not just the overall guest experience but also the local economy and open up business prospects for the locals.
