The singer-composer decided to become the first-ever Pakistani musician to win a Grammy Award, taking it upon herself to lift her country up on her kind wings and take it to new heights. Arooj’s music embraces you with open arms, regardless of whether you’re trying to heal from a broken heart or just need music to help you feel better.
Farah Yasmeen Shaikh
The movie that first exposed many Karachi residents to Farah’s wealth of ability features the rhythmic breaking of the waves on the shoreline, along with the delicate movement of decorated feet on the sand dancing to the beat of the weather.
