In the first film of the British Princess of Wales after her surgery two months ago, Kate appears fit and well. The Sun tabloid posted the video on its website on Monday. After a scheduled operation for a non-cancerous but unidentified disease that her office stated went well, Kate, 42, spent two weeks in the hospital in January.
She hasn’t been spotted in public since she appeared with the other members of the royal family on Christmas Day, with the exception of a few grainy photos. In recent weeks, social media has been overflowing with rumors and conjecture about her health, sparking headlines across the world.
The video, which the Sun claims was shot on Saturday, shows a grinning Kate strolling and carrying shopping bags with her husband, Prince William, the heir apparent, at a farm store close to their Windsor, New Jersey, residence.
They didn’t seem to be trying to hide who they were. The footage was taken by Nelson Silva, 40, who told the Sun, “But they didn’t quite know how people would react because there has been this build-up about their whereabouts and I got the sense they just wanted to be swift in there.” “Kate appeared content and at ease. They appear content simply to be able to go shopping and socialize. Kate appeared to be relieved that her trip to the store had gone well. It seemed right.”
Kensington Palace, the couple’s office, remained silent on the footage. According to her spokeswoman, Kate was on the mend and wouldn’t be expected back to work until after Easter, which is on March 31. Additionally, her administration has previously requested that the media respect the princess’s privacy and stated that it would only provide information in the event of a major update. When it comes to what would be considered private time, royal attendants often stay silent.
The video hasn’t, however, completely stopped internet rumors. One social media user made the following joke on the microblogging site X, which was formerly known as Twitter: “The royal family: please leave Princess Kate alone, she is recovering from a very critical stomach surgery. Kate outside the farm store:” with a funny video of a woman trying to escape by skipping downstairs.

The video was released after Kate thanked the public in her first public speech earlier this month for their supportive words. But the next day, after other prestigious news outlets, including Reuters, removed the accompanying photo of her and the couple’s three kids, claiming it did not adhere to their editorial standards, she apologized for creating confusion by manipulating it.
