Four Up-and-Coming Players Sarfaraz Ahmed Names That Could Be Great in PSL 9

Former Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed recently offered his thoughts on young cricket players that will excel in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.

Sarfaraz named four up-and-coming players in an interview with Cricket Pakistan that he thinks have what it takes to succeed in the PSL. Adil Naz, a fast bowler Sarfaraz saw playing for the Abbottabad team, is one of them and he is said to be very promising. He also brought up Khawaja Nafay, a rookie who just made an impression playing for the Sindh team.

Saad Baig, the captain of the Pakistan U19 team, was another player Sarfaraz mentioned as one to keep an eye on. On the international front, Baig has proven his talent and leadership. Most notably, he has guided the youth national team to victory in major competitions such as the U19 Asia Cup 2023 and the U19 World Cup 2024. Mehran Mumtaz is another gifted person Sarfaraz noted. He thinks that Mehran Mumtaz can succeed if given the chance.
