YouTuber Ducky Bhai Placed Under Judicial Remand in Online Gambling Case
Lahore — YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has been placed under judicial remand after appearing in court following the completion of his three-day physical remand. The National Cyber Crime Agency (NCCA) had requested an extension to continue their investigation, but the court rejected the plea.
Ducky Bhai was arrested at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on charges of money laundering linked to online gambling apps, authorities said. Officials from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) disclosed that he served as the “country manager” for an illegal gambling platform and actively promoted multiple betting applications.
An FIR registered against him indicates that the investigation began on June 13, 2025, following credible reports that several social media influencers were enticing the public to invest in gambling apps for personal profit. Authorities say these promotions led many ordinary citizens—already facing economic challenges—into significant financial losses.
Investigators allege that Ducky Bhai encouraged investments through platforms such as Binomo, which collected millions of rupees from users but later refused payouts. The app itself is not registered in Pakistan, officials confirmed.
“Despite multiple summons, Ducky Bhai allegedly did not cooperate with the inquiry. His name was then added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), and he was intercepted at the airport while attempting to travel abroad,” NCCIA officials stated.
During his arrest, officials reportedly recovered an iPhone 16 Pro Max containing WhatsApp chats linked to Binomo promotions, along with evidence of receiving illegal payments. Investigators said he could not justify his promotional videos urging the public to invest in these apps.
Authorities also noted that his appointment as “Country Manager” for Binomo was made without approval from any Pakistani regulatory body, including the State Bank of Pakistan.
