Ed Sheeran Confirms Family’s Move to the U.S. Ahead of Tour
Singer Ed Sheeran, 34, has revealed that he and his family are preparing for a big move across the Atlantic. The couple, along with their daughters Lyra, 5, and Jupiter, 3, will be leaving their £3.75 million Suffolk estate, Sheeranville, as they plan to settle in the United States.
Speaking on his latest podcast, Sheeran said, “I’m just about to move to America,” joking that he feels like “the only person moving to America.” He added, “I’m going on tour there for a while, and I have a family, so I can’t dip in and out. We’re going and settling there.”
While the singer didn’t reveal exactly where they’ll be living, he has previously expressed his fondness for Nashville, calling it his “favourite city in the States.” Sheeran also hinted that the move aligns with his musical ambitions, saying, “When you transition to country, you can’t transition back. It’s always been my end goal to move to Nashville and transition to country.”
The move comes as Sheeran prepares for his upcoming tour, making it easier for the family to balance life and work while in the U.S.
