In celebration of her pal Justin Bieber’s 30th birthday, Billie Eilish posted a heartfelt message.
Eilish, 23, celebrated her milestone birthday on Friday, March 1st, by posting on social media. Despite being straightforward, her wish seemed to be filled with emotion.
With Eilish’s head resting on Bieber’s shoulder, the Ocean Eyes singer posted a photo of the two on her Instagram Stories.
The photo looked to have been taken outside while they were hanging out with pals.
The caption said “Birthday boy” and included three emojis of hearts.
The Grammy winner had long been a fan of Bieber, even before she rose to fame.
As their friendship developed, Bieber also came to act as her tutor. He revealed, with tears in his eyes, to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in 2020 that he wished to “protect” Eilish from the hardships he had to endure as a rising star in the music industry.
“I want her to avoid experiencing what I did. I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone. I’m only a phone call away if she ever needs me,” he stated.
Eilish revealed that Bieber has been “really helpful” to her in 2021 on an episode of The Morning Mash Up, particularly in “dealing with fame.”
Eilish announced last week that her third studio album was finished, and she is currently getting ready to release it.
