Who sings the voice of the dragon that breathes fire in "Damsel"?

The casting team of Damsel, which stars Millie Bobby Brown, has received praise for pairing the most sultry voice in Hollywood with the dragon that steals the show.

Shohreh Aghdashloo provided the voice of the fire-breathing dragon in the Netflix movie, The Wrap learned on Friday, March 15.

In a new behind-the-scenes video, Aghdashloo revealed the details, shedding light on any further methods the actress used to bring the Damsel flaming beast to life.

She said, “I chose to use a diaphragm voice for her.” “The dragon is all diaphragm because she’s been wounded badly and deeply, and that’s why the voice does not come from the head.”

She said, “It originates from the mansion full of pain.”

The 71-year-old actress’s on-screen personas include Chrisjen Avasarala from The Expanse and Dina Araz from season 4 of 24.

Because of her outstanding performance in The House of Sand and Frog, the Emmy Award-winning actress was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category.

In addition to lending her voice to the enormous dragon in Damsel, Iranian-born actor Aghdashloo has also portrayed Forouzan in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, Queen Janna in The Lion Guard, and Grayson in Arcane.
