ESFP-THE PERFORMER.. Learn More HERE!

I’m obsessed with personalities. Just thought I’d remind everyone. And, a good friend of mine requested that I do an extensive note on their personality type. So, here goes nothing. Well, not nothing as a lot of research and webs surfing goes into these articles. She’s an ESFP. Therefore, this article is dedicated to people like her who love attention and are the “life of the party”.

ESFP- What Does it Mean?

E-Extroverted
S-Sensing
F-Feeling
P-Perceiving
They are often described as spontaneous, resourceful, and outgoing. They love being the center of attention and are often described as entertainers or “class clowns.” Additionally, approximately 4% to 10% of all people have this personality type.

Characteristics

Firstly, ESFPs are practical and resourceful. They LOVE to interact with others and gain most of their learning through direct experience. Secondly, they are very much (unlike me) living in the present moment and tend to rush things. Furthermore, they don’t stop to think of the consequences of their behaviors.
Moreover, they are very understanding and perceptive when it comes to other people. So, they are able to sense what others are feeling and know how to respond.
While ESFPs are fun-loving and do not shun the spotlight, they are more interested in simply living in the present and doing what feels right at that moment.

My Personal Experience

Now, a good friend of mine is an ESFP. Therefore, I think I have some key insights into this personality type. I mean, I’ve known the girl for about sixteen years… So, TRY ME!
Okay, let me tell you what I think. ESFPs are sociable and materialistic. Sorry. But, the truth HURTS. Sometimes, they get too emotional and hate conflict. This is fine to some extent if you ask me. Finally, they’re authentic and bold. And, they want this quality to persist in their relationships as well.
