Faysal Quraishi has become a top trend on Pakistani Twitter after a snippet from his game show went viral on Saturday.
The clip shows him shouting at an influencer after she fails to adhere to the decorum of television and hits a fellow male influencer on-air. The girl named Muskan begins to horseplay when everyone gathers to wish a couple of other performers — Micki and Usama — a happy birthday. As she continues to hit the fellow guest, Quraishi loses his cool and asks “What are you doing?” He then shouts, “What are you doing?! You’ve made this game show a joke. You’re slapping him on-air! Following this, Quraishi throws the cue cards and walks away calling all influencers present “jaahil” (ignorant). “Kahan se laye ho yaar yeh badtameez, jaahil log (Where did you get these ill-mannered, ignorant people from)?” he asks.

Now, many on Twitter are praising the actor-cum-host for giving a dressing down to the to the content creator. Some, however, are not appeased by the fact that he called all influencer present ‘jaahil’ just because one of them got on his nerves. There are also users who are convinced both Quraishi and Muskan pulled a publicity stunt.

A user named Sadaf Goraya, however, put it all into perspective, “An advice for Faisal Qureshi: When you associate yourself with clowns, expect a circus.”
