Fake International Police Bureau Busted in Noida

NOIDA – Police have dismantled a bogus “International Police and Crime Investigation Bureau” operating from an office in Noida that was styled to resemble a legitimate law enforcement agency.

According to a police statement released late Sunday, the suspects forged documents and certificates, ran a website, and solicited “donations” from unsuspecting victims. They falsely claimed ties to Interpol and other global crime units, presenting themselves as public officials.

During the raid, police seized mobile phones, cheque books, stamp seals, and fake identity cards.

The case echoes a recent incident in which a man was arrested near New Delhi for running a fake “West Arctic embassy” from a rented house. He posed as an ambassador for fictional nations such as West Arctica, Saborga, Poulvia, and Lodonia, allegedly defrauding job seekers with false promises of overseas employment.
